How To Go To Citadel Alona:
Philippine Airlines and
Cebu Pacific each
have one daily 60 minute
flight from Manila to
Tagbilaran, the Bohol
capital. Fare rates vary per
carrier and season from
Php1,600 to Php3,600.
Oceanjet and Weesam Express
provide regular 90 minute
fast ferry services from
Cebu City Port which is only
a 30 minute taxi ride from
the international airport
there. Fares vary Php300-500
single, Php 500-600 round
trip. Slower ferries
P180-200 take 3-4 hours.
Tagbilaran is the site of
the Bohol domestic airport
and seaport, is 30-45
minutes drive from Alona
Beach by taxi charged at 150
% of the Tagbilaran
Municipality meter rate
(approx Php350), tricycle
(Php200) or motorcycle
(P150).
For the adventurous,
jeepneys and minibuses also
operate to and from the bus
and Jeepney station in Dao,
Tagbilaran (Php20 taking 55
minutes). Expect lots of
passengers!
